Play Ball Under LED Lights in Pickering

Baseball players will soon enjoy the game under new LED lights at Bay Ridges Kinsmen Park in the City of Pickering.

Ballparks at Bay Ridges Kinsmen are being fitted with modern, LED lighting – including new poles and wiring. The new, energy-efficient lights replace older lighting installed in 2000 and 1981.

LED lighting will improve safety in the outfield since the old lights were fitted on repurposed streetlight poles and caused uneven lighting of the playing areas.
