Township of Mulmur Wraps up 2023 Roads Project

In 2023, the Township of Mulmur allocated more than $526,000 from the Canada Community-Building Fund to repave River Road/20th Sideroad. The updated surface improves driving conditions, benefiting more than 150 property owners who use the road. Repaving the road also creates a safer and more accessible road for the many vehicles that travel it daily.

Proactively investing in Mulmer’s core infrastructure improves the lives of those in the community and enhances the overall livability of the area. It is exciting to see the positive changes that can be made through investments from the Canada Community-Building Fund. The stability and permanency of the Fund allows municipalities across Ontario to plan for and prioritize key infrastructure projects that have a real, local impact on their communities.

The Township of Mulmur is nestled in the northeast corner of Dufferin County. This quaint township is situated on the renowned Niagara Escarpment, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, with a variety of hiking trails, cycling routes, and scenic drives available for visitors to explore.
